Anna Schwartz

Anna E. Schwartz, MPH graduated from Brown University (A.B., ’18) during which she pursued an independent concentration in music cognition. She was an oboist in the Brown University Orchestra and performed live music for the DAPpers classes. From 2018-2019, she conducted research in Norway as a Fulbright student on clinical music therapy techniques for patients with Huntington’s disease. She graduated from Yale School of Public Health (M.P.H., ’21) where she studied Social and Behavioral Sciences with a focus on aging health. As a member of the 3D research team, Anna has co-led the development of the DAPpers intervention manual for the purposes of clinical dissemination. She aspires to apply her music background to her medical career and provide equitable care to neurological patient populations.
